In one of my early books, I shared the following story:

“Imagine you are dreaming the most incredibly vivid dream of your life,” began the teacher. “In the dream, you seem to be some sort of an adventurer, and each adventure brings with it new challenge and creative solutions. You experience many things – some wonderful and some not so wonderful.

”You soon realize that in your dream, anything is possible. On one of your adventures, you encounter a very high wall, so you imagine yourself a rope and climb to the top. In another, you are falling off a cliff, but before you reach the ground, you begin to fly.

“Eventually, you begin to look forward to each new adventure – until one time, for no apparent reason, everything seems to go wrong.

“It is dark, so dark that you cannot see your hand before your face. Even before you can hear our see anything, you sense danger. Strange and uncomfortable sounds begin crawling out from the depths of your imagination and seem to be coming closer to you.

“Cautiously, you strike a match. Everywhere you look, you’re surrounded by the most hideous creatures you’ve ever seen.

“You try to run, but your legs won’t move; you open your mouth to scream, but no sound comes out. Everything you’ve learned up to this point seems to have abandoned you, and a horrific death seems imminent.

“What would you do?”

The student was lost in thought for many moments, and the teacher could see a range of fearful emotions play across her face as she lived the scenario fully in her mind. Suddenly and without warning, she opened her eyes and began to laugh.

“I know what I would do,” the student said. “I would wake up!”

While there are many ways of working with others and contributing to the wellbeing of our planet, one of my favorites is to engage with people in something I call “the transformative conversation”. It can happen one to one, in small and large groups, through blogs and books and podcasts and videos and even social media posts, all designed to raise consciousness by waking people up to the spiritual power at the heart of who and what they are.

Over the years, I have used labels like coach, adviser, mentor, and catalyst to describe the work that I do, and while each one of those labels is accurate, they dance around the truth of what moves the needle and changes the game:

When people wake up to who and what they really are, EVERYTHING changes for the better.

Beginning this December, I will be leading a one year program in becoming an awakener – someone who facilitates awakening in whatever ways occur to and for them. While there will be echoes of Supercoach Academy and the Genius Catalyst Certification program along the way, what sets this program apart is the focus on practicum, giving you real-time opportunities to develop your skills as an awakener with groups, via the written word, speaking, podcasting, and videos as well as one to one conversations.

In the late nineteenth century, William Stewart Halsted developed the “see one, do one, teach one” method to train students in Johns Hopkins University’s surgical residency program. Instead of just having conversations about the principles (which we certainly will be doing :-), you’ll get the chance to come along with me as I design, prep, deliver, record, and film programs in real time. Then you’ll have a go for yourself, exploring your own writing and speaking and then helping to coach and teach participants in the open to the public one-year companion program, “How to Be Really Happy and Love your Life”.

PLEASE NOTE:
While there will be plenty of space for reflection and recovery along the way, this is the most time-intensive program I’ve ever offered. It includes:

25 days of live/live-streaming immersion

10 days of online practicum and learning

4 one on one sessions with me and members of my team

Multiple application opportunities throughout the year contributing to other programs and events I'm running within the Genius Catalyst community

6 masterclasses with some of my favorite 3P mentors as part of the How to be Really Happy and Love your Life Program

The full cost of the program for the year is $15,000.
