Would you like to fall in love with getting things done?

Over the past 30 years or so, I have built a successful business as a coach, author, podcaster, radio show host, and teacher. While doing all that, I’ve helped raise three amazing children, created a gorgeous life with a wife who actually seems to like me, traveled the world, and read a few thousand books ranging from ancient spiritual texts to F. Scott Fitzgerald and from the new Sara Maas fantasy bestsellers to the collected works of William Shakespeare.

In other words, I’ve found a way to be incredibly productive as a part of an incredibly wonderful life.

When people ask me what my secret is, they assume it will be to do with the the principles behind the inside-out understanding that I teach in my workshops and write about in my books. And while my spiritual and psychological understanding certainly goes a long way to keeping me from suffering the depths of stress, pressure, and overwhelm that most high achievers accept as part of the cost of success, the truth behind how I’ve been so productive is simply this:

What gets done has everything to do with what we actually do and almost nothing to do with how we think and feel.

So while conversations about the Three Principles and the inside-out understanding can really wake us up to a deeper place inside us where everything is already OK and our innate well-being rises to the surface, in and of itself that won’t get the job done. Whether our job is making sales calls, analyzing contracts, building a house, or building a business, our results will be largely a function of the calling, analyzing, and building that we do regardless of how we happen to be feeling while we do it.

Don’t get me wrong. I love that the more clearly I see the thought/feeling connection the more time I spend in well-being, and that the more I recognize and rest in my true nature as pure consciousness the more peaceful and even joyful I get to feel. But I also love that when it comes to getting things done in the world, I can do what there is to do regardless of how enlightened I happen to be feeling from day to day.

Here’s how the program works:

We’ll get together online for an hour a day, Monday to Friday at 8am pacific/11am eastern/4pm UK, over the first three weeks of October. Each week I’ll introduce a theme related to effortless productivity, and each day I’ll share a specific insight, strategy, or experiment for you to put to the test in your own life and work. I’ll also coach you in real time through any challenges you maybe having to get more sh*t done without adding any stress, pressure, or busy-ness to your day. (Every session will be recorded and posted online within 24 hours so you won’t miss out even if you can’t attend one or more of the sessions live.)

These are our weekly themes:

Week One – Expanding Bandwidth

If you’ve been riding a bicycle to work every day and your legs are exhausted, every bump in the road is going to hurt and even the slightest hill is going to feel like a mountain. Take on that same route in a finely tuned sports car and chances are you won’t even notice the road. In the same way, when we expand our bandwidth (the amount of mental, physical, and emotional space we have to take on our daily to-do list), our schedules seem relatively light and even our busiest days feel well within our capacity. Overwhelm becomes a thing of the past, and you may even find yourself able to take on bigger projects that used to seem beyond you.

Week Two -Clearing the Backlog

Are there things you’ve been avoiding doing that seem to follow you around no matter how hard you try to ignore them?

Week Two is all about moving beyond procrastination and getting things off your to-do list once and for all, either by actually doing them or by realizing that they’re no longer (and perhaps never were) essential to getting where you want to go and living the life you really want to live.

Week Three – Enjoying Effortless Productivity

In my experience, anyone can massively increase the amount of sh*t they get done over a three week period. But since there will always be new projects to take on and new mountains to climb, in our third week together we’ll lay the foundations for how you want to work on a go forward basis. This will be your chance to transform your relationship with productivity, setting yourself up for success not only now but for years to come.

Here’s what some of our students had to say about our three week programs:

Michael I have really enjoyed this course! It is making such a difference, and providing a lot of insights. I come prepared with questions to each call, and then find they fall away. So I enjoy just listening with a beautiful feeling. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I’ve bloody loved this course. Thank you to everyone on here and a massive thank you to Michael Neill. What a beautiful exploration with Michael’s gentle guiding hand at the helm. I don’t have a specific takeaway but I know I am having a greater depth of understanding.

My heart feels full and I have found myself swimming in the ocean of oneness more frequently over these last few weeks. Loving all of you.

I have changed, deepened my seeing. Reminding myself not to grab for the butterfly as it passes but to wait and let it find me. Thank you MN, it is a gift.

It’s been a wondrous journey over the last three weeks… I had amazing insights at the beginning and then lost my way through illness and pain, ending with a life changing conversation with Michael yesterday. For that I am so very grateful. I see that my moments of being in deeper wisdom and letting go of thought around pain eases my suffering.

A new journey is beginning.… I’m so excited! Thank you Michael with all my love to you XX

This course has been a delight and a privilege. Thank you so, so much Michael for this extraordinary opportunity and to everyone who participated, especially all of the people who magically asked the exact questions that arose for me! I have loved this time with everyone, hanging out with the cool kids and having a life-changing conversation.

When I signed up for this course (which I was only able to do because it was so affordable, thank you!) my hope was that it would help me to actually live more insightfully rather than just understanding the principles in an intellectual way. I wanted the experience, not just the concept. My hope has been answered beyond all my expectations. So that’s my takeaway; I’m living more of it and it’s a joy!

This course has given me a priceless gift. My cup runneth over. Thank you.

For me, it has been a very enlightening three-week exploratory quest in the Amazon jungle. I felt that all of us were feeling our way around, sensing sounds and movements with different sensations, conscious perhaps of the personal gear we’re carrying, expecting perhaps different experiences. But we were all exploring what makes the beauty and majesty of the whole ‘jungle experience’, and how far Thought can take us and free us, to be in Mind, if we only let it.

All the while, the mighty river was running its course. We may have sensed it differently, but isn’t that what personal exploration is all about?

Sometimes, ‘thank you’ carries gratefulness that this most ordinary phrase we say hundreds of times a day is much too lame to convey. This is one such ‘thank you’, Michael and Lynne, with much love. My love and gratitude go also to everyone for all that energy and presence we all felt throughout the journey, whether thoughts were shared, or stayed floating in our personal minds.
